If you’re looking for a delicious and easy drink that is perfect for a cold winter day, this is it! Made with a few simple ingredients you’ll find at our stores.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup of milk. Use any type you prefer. We love it with vanilla oat milk.
- 1 Earl Grey tea bag. We have so many great brands… take your pick!
- 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp of pure maple syrup. Honey also works well, but you have some flexibility if you prefer another sweetener.
- 1/4 tsp dried lavender

INSTRUCTIONS
1): Boil water (or close to it). Steep tea for approximately 3 minutes in hot water. If you prefer a stronger lavender flavor, you may steep some of the lavender with the tea, but save some for garnish.

2): Mix milk and vanilla extract. Heat in a pan on low until hot, but do not allow to boil. Stir occasionally. If you have a milk frother, it can be used. If you do not, milk can be frothed a few different ways. See below.
A): Put in a jar and shake until frothed.
B): Whisk or use an electric mixer until milk is frothed.
C): If you have a French press, the plunging motion also froths milk perfectly.

3): Stir in maple syrup (or the sweetener you chose to use).
4): Top with frothed milk and garnish with lavender.
5): If too hot, allow to cool briefly then enjoy!
