Although we love talking about the many unique ingredients we carry, sometime it’s fun to show interesting ways to use everyday items too. These avocado truffles are an amazing way to utilize avocados in sweet context, and they are SUPER easy.
- 2 avocados, mashed
- 1 3/4 cup dark chocolate, melted (we recommend chocolate chips)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup premium cocoa powder
- 1 pinch of sea salt
1): Mash avocado.
2): Melt chocolate. Add mashed avocado, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, salt and cinnamon to a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
3:) Spread cocoa powder on plate. Form refrigerated mixture into small round balls.
4:) Roll truffle ball in cocoa powder until covered.
5): Refrigerate for another 10-15 minutes. If desired, top with a tiny bit of sea salt. Enjoy!
