A perfectly refreshing and light hummus that is great to serve as an appetizer at your next cookout. Add it to your sandwiches, enjoy it as a dip, or eat it straight if you’re adventurous!
-can of chickpeas, drained -1/4 cup sesame tahini -1/2 cup water -2 tbsp lemon juice -1 tbsp olive oil -3 cloves of roasted garlic (coat raw garlic with olive oil and roast at 350 in tin foil for 25 minutes) -1/2 tsp paprika -1/2 tsp fresh parsley -1/4 tsp cayenne pepper -1/2 tsp salt (add more to taste)
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
2. Start on the lowest setting and slowly increase until you have creamy, smooth hummus. Add salt or any other ingredients you desire to taste.
3. We suggest refrigerating it for the best flavor first before garnishing and serving. Top with a drizzle of olive oil, parsley, salt, or even some paprika!
Enjoy with some local pita chips, veggies, or your favorite crackers!
